ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has developed an AI-based application aimed at curbing human smuggling and facilitating immigration processes.
Federal Interior Minister Moeen Naqvi was briefed on the app by FIA officials.
The pilot project for the app will launch at Islamabad Airport, with the goal of easing immigration procedures and tackling human smuggling.
Minister Naqvi stated that this initiative would not only help prevent human trafficking but also reduce waiting times for passengers.
To support the initiative, the government has announced immediate funding to upgrade the IT infrastructure. The minister also instructed

FIA Director General Raja Rafat Mukhtar provided the minister with a detailed briefing on the project.
