ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court has suspended a notice issued by Federal Investigation Agency to the spouse of jailed PTI chairman Imran Khan in the audio leak case.
Bushra Bibi had moved the court against the FIA notice to join the investigation and appear at the agency on Sept 19.
In her application filed with the high court, Imran’s spouse contended that she had already moved the IHC snd the latter had taken up the matter for adjudication.
She stated that the case had been fixed for hearing on October 30 and in the meantime the FIA issued her a notice which should be suspended.
When Justice Babar Sattar took up the application for hearing, Sardar Latif Khosa appeared on behalf of Bushra Bibi.
On the plea of Mr Khosa, the judge suspended the notice issued by the FIA and issued notice to the federal government.
Meanwhile, a civil court in Islamabad has ordered production of jailed PTI chairman in a pending case filed against him for contacting marriage with Bushra Bibi against the Islamic law.
Qudratullah, a civil judge in the district and sessions court in the federal capital, ordered that Khan along with his spouse should be produced in the court on September 25.
