FIA Recovers Rs180 Million in Visa, Banking Fraud Cases

SARGODHA: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Sargodha Circle has recovered more than Rs180 million in separate visa and banking fraud cases and returned part of the recovered amount to the affected victims.

According to FIA officials, more than Rs90 million was recovered in visa fraud cases in Sargodha and handed over to the rightful claimants.

The agency also recovered more than Rs90 million in separate banking fraud cases.

FIA Sargodha Director Saqib Sultan distributed cheques for the recovered amounts among the victims. Those who received their money expressed gratitude to the FIA authorities.

Officials said legal action against individuals allegedly involved in the fraud cases is continuing.
