Fifth Pakistan Zindabad rally draws crowds in Frankfurt

FRANKFURT (GERMANY): The series of Pakistan Zindabad and Pakistan Army Zindabad rallies continued across Europe and the fifth march was organized in Frankfurt, Germany, which the organizers said was the largest.

Overseas Pakistanis have launched the rallies under the banner of EU-Pak Friendship Federation Europe and Pakistani community in Europe. The rally in Frankfurt was chaired by Chaudhry Ehsan Nazir of Chak Sikandar and Ansar Butt and organized by Chaudhry Ehsan Nazir, Rao Khalid, Chaudhry Akhtar Awan, Afzal Qadri, Chaudhry Younus of Saruchak, Raja Anjum Guddu, Nasir Butt, Ahmed Dar, Chaudhry Ehsan of Malikpur Chara, Gohar Bajwa and others.

Chaudhry Aijaz Hussain Pyara, Azad Hussain, Chaudhry Aamir Waraich of Jamna, Chaudhry Zubair Daraji and Daniyal Aziz especially participated in the rally.

Chaudhry Pervaiz Iqbal Losar, who is the chairman of EU-Pak Friendship Federation Europe, was the chief guest on the occasion. The organizers said that this was the largest rally and power show ever held abroad by Pakistanis in which a large number of overseas Pakistanis participated.

The participants chanted slogans in support of Pakistan and reiterated that they stand with the Pakistan Army. The participants added that the overseas Pakistanis were committed to increasing remittances and putting the economy of their country on track, adding civil disobedience was unacceptable.

A large number of women also participated in the rally, expressing their solidarity with Pakistan and the Pakistan Army.

Addressing the participants, Mehwish Iftikhar, a Pakistani-born German parliamentarian, said that she was proud to be a Pakistani and Pakistan was a great country.

The overseas Pakistanis carried the national flag and portraits of Army Chief General Asim Munir.
