KAGHAN: Early this morning, a sudden fire broke out in the bustling market area of Kaghan, a popular tourist destination in Mansehra district.
The blaze engulfed a well-known hotel, which housed more than 50 rooms, reducing it entirely to ashes.
Two fire brigade vehicles from the Kaghan Development Authority (KDA), with assistance from local residents, managed to prevent the fire from spreading further into the market. KDA staff are currently engaged in cooling operations to ensure the fire is fully under control.
Authorities have not yet reported any casualties, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. The incident has caused significant property loss in one of the region’s prime tourist hubs.
