WANA: Five laborers were shot dead and two others injured when armed people opened fire on them in the South Wazirstan district.
According to the police, the attack was carried out late on Thursday night at the Jazaghondai area of South Wazirstan.
The laborers were working at an under-construction police station in the area, said the police. Besides the dead, two laborers were also injured.
The dead bodies and the injured were shifted to the Districts Headquarters Hospital of Wana in South Wazirstan, added the police.
District Police Officer of South Waziristan Farmanullah said that details of the incident would be shared with media after conducting an investigation.
