LASBELLA (BALOCHISTAN: Five police personnel embraced martyrdom and two others were injured when thei van met with an accident here today.
The policemen were on security detail with the senior superintendent of police Lasbella. They were going to Othal from Dareji when their van overturned near Dubai mosque in Lasbella. The cause of the accident was tyre burst.
Rescue staffers shifted the dead bodies and the injured to the District Headquarters Hospital in Othal.
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti and the provincial police chief expressed grief over the death of the policemen in the line of duty.
