MASTUNG: Security forces conducted a major intelligence-based operation in the Splinji area of Mastung district, killing five militants belonging to the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).
According to security sources, the operation was launched on credible intelligence reports. During the raid, several militant hideouts were destroyed, and a large cache of weapons and other equipment was recovered.
The slain militants were reportedly involved in targeted killings of civilians as well as attacks on security forces in the region.
Officials added that such operations will continue as part of a broader counterterrorism strategy aimed at ensuring peace and stability in Balochistan, where security forces have intensified efforts against militant networks in recent months.
