RAWALPINDI: Five terrorists, allegedly sponsored by India, were killed in an intelligence-based operation in Kohlu district, Balochistan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted the operation after receiving intelligence on the presence of militants linked to the Indian-backed group “Fitna al Hindustan.”
During the operation, the security forces engaged the terrorists in a heavy firefight, resulting in their deaths. A large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was also recovered from the militants.
The operation is part ongoing efforts to eliminate foreign-sponsored terrorism from its soil. Following the raid, sanitization operations are underway to ensure no other militants remain in the area.
The counter-terrorism campaign, under the vision “Azm e Istehkam,” is being carried out by Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies, with full support from the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan.
