ISLAMABAD: A total of 35 flights to the Middle East and 8 domestic flights have been canceled today across Pakistan, according to airline sources.
From Peshawar, 12 flights to Doha, Riyadh, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah were canceled. Meanwhile, flights from Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore were also affected, with 4 flights canceled from each city, in addition to 12 more cancellations to destinations including Bahrain, Baghdad, Doha, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai.
From Lahore, 10 flights to Kuwait, Jeddah, Sharjah, Doha, Bahrain, and Dammam were canceled, while Islamabad saw 11 cancellations to Jeddah, Doha, Riyadh, Najaf, Kuwait, and Dubai.
Airline officials confirmed that flight operations from Doha and the UAE’s Fujairah airport to Pakistan are continuing and improving, despite the widespread cancellations.
These cancellations come amid ongoing regional tensions and are part of a series of disruptions affecting Pakistan’s flights to the Middle East in recent weeks.
