ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the incidents of vandalism in India during Christmas, calling the mistreatment of minorities in the country highly alarming.
Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi stated that the attacks during Christmas are being strongly condemned and claimed that these incidents occurred with state backing.
He further said that Muslims in India are also being targeted under state support, with homes being demolished, creating an atmosphere of fear and alienation among the community.
The spokesperson urged the international community to take notice of the mistreatment of minorities and to take appropriate measures to protect their fundamental rights in India.
