FO Slams Israeli Attacks, Calls for Respect of Peace Efforts

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strongly condemned the recent Israeli military strikes in Lebanon, which have caused significant loss of life and extensive infrastructure damage, according to the Foreign Office.

Speaking to the media, FO spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi said that Israel’s actions violate international laws and undermine ongoing regional peace initiatives. He reiterated Pakistan’s full support for Lebanon’s sovereignty and stability, emphasizing solidarity with the Lebanese government and people during this difficult time.

The spokesperson also highlighted joint concerns expressed by Pakistan and Saudi Arabia over repeated violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon. Both countries have stressed the need for strict adherence to and enforcement of the ceasefire to ensure long-term peace and security in the region.

Tahir Andrabi noted that Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts for sustainable peace in Lebanon have consistently received strong support from Saudi Arabia, and the country remains committed to promoting stability in the region.
