OSHAWA: A founding member of an Islamic Centre was tragically killed near a mosque in Oshawa, Canada, in a shocking incident that has deeply saddened the local Muslim community.
According to international media reports, 80-year-old Ibrahim Bala, a highly respected elder and one of the original founders of the Islamic Centre, was killed near the mosque.
