PESHAWAR: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Peshawar Zone has arrested four suspects, including an Afghan national, for allegedly attempting to fraudulently obtain Pakistani citizenship.
According to FIA officials, the arrested Afghan citizen, identified as Siddiqullah, tried to acquire Pakistani nationality using fake documents.
The other three suspects, Younas Khan, Fayyaz Khan, and Samiullah, were involved in helping him during the process. Younas Khan allegedly posed as Siddiqullah’s father at the NADRA office, while Fayyaz Khan and Samiullah acted as false witnesses, providing forged verifications to support the illegal application.
An FIA spokesperson said that further investigation is underway and that legal proceedings are being carried out in accordance with the law.
