RAWALPINDI: Security forces carried out an operation in the Qalat area of Balochistan and killed four terrorists who were supported by India.
According to the ISPR (Inter-Services Public Relations), the operation took place on the night of November 1 after reports of terrorist presence in the area. Weapons and explosives were recovered from the killed militants.
The ISPR said that a sanitization operation is continuing to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the region. The operation was part of “Operation Azm-e-Istehkam”, a nationwide campaign aimed at completely ending terrorism in Pakistan.
Officials reaffirmed that Pakistan remains determined to eliminate all forms of foreign-sponsored terrorism from its soil.
