TURBAT (BALOCHISTAN): Four laborers from Punjab along with a policeman were killed when armed persons attacked a police station in the rural area of Turbat city on Tuesday morning.
Police said the laborers belonged to Muzaffargarh, Punjab. According to the police, unidentified persons attacked the Nasirabad police station and opened fire.
The laborers had arrived in the area for starting work on construction of a building.
It’s not clear why they were in the police station.
Earlier on October 14, six laborers from Punjab were shot dead in a house in Turbat.
That incident had occured in a house at Satellite Town area of Turbat. According to the police, two laborers were also injured in the armed attack.
Officials said that these attacks seemed to be target killings of laborers from Punjab.
Police and other law enforcement agencies arrived in the area and started an investigation after cordoning off the area.
