Four soldiers sacrifice lives fighting TTP terrorists

Terrorists tried to enter Pakistan near Zhob district of Afghanistan, four eliminated, says ISPR.

RAWALPINDI: Three terrorists affiliated with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan were killed when they  infiltrated into Balochistan from Afghanistan. 

While defending the border, four army soldiers were martyred, said Inter-Services Public Relations, the media wing of the military on Friday.

The ISPR said the clash occured near Sambaza area of Zhob close to the Pak-Afghan border.

The martyred soldiers were identified as Havaldar Sattar, Lance Naik Sher Azam, Lance Naik Adnan and Sepoy Nadeem, the ISPR added.

“Security forces will continue to thwart efforts of the enemies of peace and prosperity in the country,” said ISPR.

Earlier this week, security forces killed three terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Tirah, Khyber District of Khyber Pakthunkhwa. 

On Sept 6th, hundreds of TTP terrorists infiltrated into the Chitral area and killed five Chitral Scouts personnel. In retaliation, The Chitral Scouts eliminated at least seven terrorists and pushed them back to the Afghan territory.
