Four Trapped Miners Rescued Alive After Mine Collapse in Swat

SWAT: Four miners who were trapped deep underground after an emerald mine collapsed in the Fizzagat area of Swat have been successfully rescued alive, officials confirmed on Thursday.

According to a Rescue 1122 spokesperson, a seven-hour-long rescue operation led to the safe recovery of all four miners. The miners, who belong to the Shangla district, were trapped approximately 880 feet deep inside the mine when it caved in.

More than 40 rescue personnel and volunteers took part in the operation, working tirelessly to reach the affected individuals. The successful rescue has been hailed as a major achievement by local authorities and emergency response teams.

All four rescued miners are reported to be in stable condition and were provided immediate medical attention.

The cause of the mine collapse is currently under investigation.
