ISLAMABAD: After its leaders and workers fled from Islamabad, the PTI announced that it had ended its protest march due to use of force by the government.
The PTI said that a strategy would be announced to relaunch the protest for acceptance of demands after consultation with the party founder Imran Khan.
A spokesman for the party told media that the government used brutal force against peaceful protesters and killed eight workers of the PTI. He said that details of the dead workers were being collected for the registration of cases against the government.
He said that the party would take up the excessive use of force and straight firing on the protesters at all available forums.
He said that because of the government’s use of force the protest in Islamabad had been called off snd a future course of action would be announced in consultation with jailed PTI founder and former prime minister Imran Khan.
