The film was directed by Israeli journalists Yuval Abraham and Rachel Zor, who said they hoped the testimonies of Israeli intelligence officers and soldiers featured in the documentary would make it difficult for audiences to remain silent about civilian deaths in Gaza.

“Naza” is among 21 films competing for the Golden Lion, the top award at the Venice Film Festival.

The documentary examines the deaths of civilians in Gaza through testimonies from Israeli military and intelligence personnel, presenting their accounts as part of its exploration of the conflict and its human cost.
