ISLAMABAD: While the PTI marchers closed in on the federal capital on Monday, the party’s chairman Gohar Ali Khan met PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan in Adiala jail.
According to reports, Gohar Ali Khan along with spokesperson for KP government Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif held a meeting with Imran Khan for about one and half hour and discussed the protest and other issues.
After the meeting Gauhar Khan told media that he had not they party founder and discussed important matters regarding the protest he said that Imran Khan had once again made it clear that the protest was final and would not be called of until the government accepted all its demands.
The PTI chairman said that the final call for the protest that began on November 24 had been given by Imran Khan himself and he would make a decision about its future plan as the protesters have already entered the jurisdiction of Islamabad and stage a sit-in in D Chowk.
In reply to a question from media persons, the PTI chairman said that talks with the government were ongoing. He said that he would inform the media about the outcome the talks between the PTI and government teams.
