ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has developed the first domestic heart stent, National University of Science and Technology (NUST) said in a letter to the Ministry of Health.
Similarly, the ministry should issue instructions to cardiology hospitals to use domestic heart stents, added in the letter.
According to the letter, the heart stent manufactured by NUST are world class and their quality has been checked from Germany, Poland and USA, while, DRAP has also approved NUST’s heart stents.
