ISLAMABAD: The government has officially scheduled the 11th National Finance Commission (NFC) meeting for December 4, 2025.
The meeting will be presided over by the Federal Minister for Finance, Senator Aurangzeb, and is expected to include the finance ministers of all four provinces along with private members.
According to the official agenda, the Federal Secretary will provide a detailed briefing on the central government’s current financial situation.
Meanwhile, representatives from each province will have 10 minutes each to present their respective financial positions.
The Ministry of Finance stated that during the December 4 meeting, the National Finance Commission will also establish the schedule and timelines for upcoming sessions, which are crucial for finalizing the NFC Award.
The meeting is expected to play a key role in determining the distribution of resources between the federal government and the provinces.
