ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MRA) has decided on Friday to return its dues to the people who have applied for Hajj this year as per the Saudi government decision of allowing limited numbers of pilgrimage.
In a notification issued by MRA, the government will return its dues in designated banks from 2 July to the people who were selected for Hajj this year.
According to press release, sms deliveries have begun to all applicants on mobile phones, for the purpose of net cash recieving applicant must have to come to the bank. While recieving amount through bankers cheque only group leader have “to come” with original documents of the applicants, it is added in the notification.
The notifocation said in case of having close the authorized bank branch, cash recieving is possible from any other nominated bank. In case of any difficulty in cash recieving one can contact on 0519208465 with account officer of refund, according to press release.
It is to rememberred that the Saudi government has decided to not allow any foreign pilgrimages for Hajj this year due to corona virus. Only those living in Saudi Arabia can attend Hajj this year.
