Islamabad: The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has officially announced that the application process for Hajj 2026 will commence tomorrow.

The registration process will commence with the collection of dues from applicants, who will be able to submit their applications through both the designated banks and the official online platform.

As per the statement from Muhammad Umar Butt, the ministry spokesperson, the application process for already registered applicants will be on a “first-come, first-served” basis.

Applicants must deposit their first installment between August 4 and 9, 2025. New applicants, subject to seat availability, will be allowed to submit their applications from August 11 to 16. The process will stop once all available seats have been filled.

The cost of the Hajj 2026 package is expected to be in the range of Rs.1.15 million to Rs.1.25 million, which includes the required Dam-e-Shukr (sacrificial offering).

The second installment for the pilgrimage will be collected starting November 1, 2025.

This year’s registration also sees a major policy shift, as the age cap previously imposed on applicants and restrictions on performing Hajj multiple times have now been removed.

This change is aimed at expanding access to the sacred pilgrimage. However, the ministry has clarified that children born after March 1, 2014, will not be eligible for registration.

Pilgrims are urged to complete their applications promptly to secure their participation in Hajj 2026.
