ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced an extension for Hajj 2026 pilgrims to complete their biometric registration.
The new deadline for submitting biometric information is February 17.
A ministry spokesperson emphasized that biometric submission is mandatory for obtaining a Saudi Hajj visa, and pilgrims who fail to complete it by the deadline will not be allowed to perform Hajj this year. After February 17, no further biometric submissions will be accepted.
For convenience, pilgrims can complete their biometrics from home using the Saudi Visa Bio mobile application. Additionally, Tashir centers will remain open to assist pilgrims with the biometric process.
Pilgrims above the age of 80 are exempt from biometric scans; their passport scans will be sufficient, and they will receive a confirmation email once processed. All other pilgrims are advised to obtain a receipt after completing the process.
