PESHAWAR: A fresh wave of winter snowfall has transformed the scenic Kaghan Valley, Naran, and Babusar Top into a breathtaking white landscape, as up to six inches of snow has already accumulated in the region.

According to the district administration, continuous snowfall has led to the closure of Naran–Jhal Khad Road and Babusar Top Road for all vehicular movement. The Babusar Pass route, connecting Mansehra and Gilgit, has been blocked from both directions due to hazardous driving conditions.

Officials have advised tourists that travel is currently permitted only up to Batakundi, while areas beyond remain inaccessible. The administration added that, if weather conditions improve, the Babusar Top route may reopen within two to three days.

For now, roads up to Batakundi remain open and safe for visitors eager to enjoy the early winter snowfall in the northern valleys.
