High-level committee to decide fate of daily-wage teachers

ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Madad Ali Sindhi has announced to form a high-level committee to address the grievances of daily-wage teachers regarding their future.

He announced formation of the committee during a meeting with a delegation of the daily wagers in the presence of the Director General, Federal Directorate of Education in Islamabad.

After listening to the plea of the daily-wage teachers, the caretaker minister assured them that they would be provided every possible relief.

The delegation requested the minister for the regularization of their services.

It may be noted that the FDE recently had decided to sack about 300 teachers working as daily wagers for over 10 ton15vyears.
