ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court on Thursday issued notice to Bushra Bibi, wife of jailed PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan in a petition filed by Federal Investigation Agency seeking the cancellation of her bail in the second Toshakhana case.
Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb took up the petition of the FIA in which FIA prosecutor Zulfiqar Abbas gave arguments and said that Bushra Bibi was taking undue advantage of the bail granted to her by the Islamabad High Court since her release from jail. He said that the accused was not appearing in most of the cases in trial courts and urged the high court to cancel her bail.
After hearing the arguments of the prosecutor, Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb issued notice to Bushra Bibi and put off the hearing of the matter till the next week.
