ISLAMABAD: A petition has been filed in the Islamabad High Court seeking the recovery of Falak Javed, a social media activist and sister of PTI worker Sanam Javed.
She was arrested from a flat in Islamabad reportedly owned by PTI leader Salman Akram Raja a day earlier.
The petition was filed by Falak Javed’s father, Javed Iqbal, through Advocate Mian Ali Ashfaq. The plea requests the court to summon Falak Javed and provide details of the cases registered against her.
Javed Iqbal has urged the court to hear the case on an urgent basis today, citing concerns over her detention and legal situation.
The petition highlights the need for judicial intervention following Falak Javed’s arrest, emphasizing her rights and the transparency of ongoing legal proceedings.
