The Islamabad High Court has issued notice to National Command Operation Centre (NCOC) and asked for its reply within one week ragrding ban on public gatherings.
Chief Justice Athar Minallah of IHC have heared a case on the petition of Mukhtar Abbas, however, the petitioner also appeared before the court with his counsel.
Mukhtar Abbas’ Lawyer said NCOC notification has no legal justification, however, Justice Minallah asked that “political parties hold big gatherings, is not corona spread from these gatherings?”
While issuing notices to the parties in the case the court sought a reply within one week. However, the court adjourned hearing till 18 November.
