ISLAMABAD: In connection with the controversial tweets case, Islamabad Police have arrested Iman Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha on Thursday.
According to details, both accused were taken into custody while traveling from the High Court Bar to the District Courts. They were reportedly riding in a High Court Bar van at the time of their arrest.
The prosecutor, Barrister Fahd, stated that the accused had deliberately been evading arrest and were repeatedly moving between the bar association and the High Court to avoid being detained.
The arrests come after earlier developments in the case, including the cancellation of their bail and court orders directing law enforcement agencies to produce them before the court.
The case relates to alleged controversial content shared on social media, which is currently under legal proceedings.
