Imran gives call for protest march to Islamabad on Nov 24

PTI lawyer Faisal Chaudhry says Imran Khan has formed a committee but its names are not disclosed.

RAWALPINDI: PTI founder and former prime minister Imran Khan has given a call for a march to Islamabad on November 24th, his lawyer told media.

Talking to media reporters outside Adiala jail in Rawalpindi after meeting Khan, Advocate Faisal Chaudhry said that the jailed PTI leader has given the call for the protest march to the federal capital on November 24th.

He said the protest rallies would be held across the country and abroad and these would continue till acceptance of the demands. 

He said that the PTI founder formed a committee to arrange the protest rallies but its names would not be disclosed to avoid their arrest. He said that the demands of the PTI included wothdrawal of the 26th constitutional amendment, return of the stolen mandate of the PTI in the Feb 8th elections and release of all those Illegally arrested 

He said that on the direction of the PTI founder all leadership of the party would take part in the protest and the decision to call off the protest would be taken by the committee. The PTI lawyer said that on the direction of Imran Khan Khyber Pakthunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur will also lead a rally to Islamabad from Peshawar.

On the other hand, Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan also confirmed that the PTI founder has given the protest call and asked every member and leader of the party to come out snd participate in the protest.
