Independence Day Event Held at Jinnah Sports Complex, Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The central ceremony marking Independence Day and the Victory of Truth is currently underway at the Jinnah Sports Complex in Islamabad.

President Arif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, and the heads of all three armed forces are attending the event. Members of the federal cabinet, parliamentarians from the National Assembly and Senate, as well as ambassadors from friendly countries, are also present.

A large number of citizens have gathered to witness the ceremony. The event featured a spectacular march-past by the combined music band of the three armed forces, along with contingents from the Pakistan Army, Navy, Air Force, Punjab Rangers, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Frontier Corps.
