BANGKOK: The elections for the Board of Directors of the Asian Boxing Confederation were held in Bangkok, where Pakistan’s candidate secured a decisive victory.

In the South Asia region, Pakistan’s Muhammad Khalid Mehmood contested against India’s Ajay Singh. Khalid Mehmood received 18 votes, while Ajay Singh managed to get only 9.

The voting members overwhelmingly supported the Pakistani candidate over the Indian one, resulting in Khalid Mehmood’s successful election to the Board of Directors of the Asian Boxing Confederation.
