Indian occupying forces continue killings in Kashmir

APHC urges United Nations to take urgent steps for resolution of Kashmir ussue.

SRINAGAR: The occupying Indian troops today martyred two more Kashmiri youth in Baramulla district during a cordon and search operation.

The occupying forces also arrested and took away two youth identified as Aijaz Ahmad and Gulshan Ahmed in Surankote area of Poonch district. 

On November 9, the occupying Indian troops in a fake encounter martyred a Kashmiri youth in Shopian district.

Several people were were also arrested by Indian army, police, National Investigation Agency personnel during search operations and house raids in Srinagar, Islamabad, Pulwama, Shopian and Jammu districts. 

The detainees have been booked under black law Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference spokesman voiced serious concern over the ongoing killing and arrest spree, unabated cordon and search operations, house raids and seizure of properties in the occupied territory.

He urged the United Nations to take steps for an early settlement of the Kashmir dispute and pointed out that India’s reluctance in resolving the lingering dispute poses a serious threat to peace in the region.

Meanwhile, Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti and National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah in their statements questioned the bail granted to the Indian Army officer convicted of killing three innocent Kashmiris in a fake encounter in 2020.

Over thirty people were killed and several others injured after a bus skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in Assar area of Doda district, today.
