RAWALPINDI: The special court constituted under the Official Secret Act put off till tomorrow the indictment of former prime minister Imran Khan and ex-foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the cipher case on Tuesday.
Special Court Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain held the hearing of the case inside the jail.
Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi along with their lawyers were present in the court.
The lawyers of the PTI leaders completed formalities as they were provided copies of the charges during the last hearing.
In the earlier hearing, talking to media, Imran Khan had said that the his government was ousted and the conspiracy was hatched and executed by former army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa at the behest of US official Donald Lu.
He said he would make US embassy officials and Qamar Bajwa witnesses in the case.
In reply to a question, he said no one held negotiations with him. He said he can give in writing that if elections are held the PTI would clean sweep it.
To another question, Imran said that he had never seen the face of Bushra Bibi before Nikah. He said her children were being forced to give statements against their mother.
