An international journal, Eurasia Review, has termed the Afghan Taliban a serious threat to global security, endorsing Pakistan’s long-standing stance on cross-border terrorism.

According to reports published by Eurasia Review and the United Nations, more than 20 terrorist organizations, including Al-Qaeda and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), are currently operating inside Afghanistan. The journal states that terrorism originating from Afghan soil is not only a challenge for Pakistan but poses a significant threat to the entire region.

The report highlights Pakistan’s role as a frontline state in the global fight against terrorism, noting that the country has made substantial sacrifices to counter militant violence.

Security experts cited in the journal emphasize that the Afghan Taliban’s alleged support and sheltering of terrorist groups has now been exposed at the international level.

Despite growing global concern, analysts warn that the continuation of such policies by the Afghan Taliban remains a grave danger to regional peace and international security.

The report urges the global community to take these threats seriously and adopt coordinated measures to prevent the spread of terrorism beyond Afghanistan’s borders.
