WASHINGTON: The United States has condemned Iran for its drone and missile attacks inside Pakistan and termed it an open violation of the country’s territorial integrity.
In reaction to the attacks, State Department spokesperson Mathew Miller said that Iran is the biggest sponsor of terrorism in the whole region. He said within the last a few days Iran violated the international air space and carried out attacks in three neighboring countries.
He said Iran has been involved in sponsoring terrorism but was pointing fingers at other countries for terror activities .Miller said the US strongly condemns Iranian violations of the air space of Pakistan.
It may be mentioned here that Iranian media on Wednesday morning reported that Iran had targeted through drone and missile a camp of a terror outfit in Balochistan.
Pakistan reacted angrily to the attack in which it said three children had died and three others injured. Islamabad also called back its ambassador from Tehran and expelled the Iranian ambassador.
In the meanwhile, China called upon the two nations for restraint. On Thursday morning, there were unconfirmed reports that Pakistan had carried out missile attacks on camps of BLA terror group located inside Iran along by the Balochistan province.
