TEHRAN: Iranian Brigadier General Ali Reza Sabahifard has claimed that Iranian air defenses shot down 10 Israeli aircraft within the span of one hour across various regions of the country.

The announcement comes amid intensifying military exchanges between Iran and Israel.

Meanwhile, Iranian media reports that Israel launched cruise missile attacks on Tehran, Tabriz, and Bandar Abbas, which were intercepted by Iranian defense systems.

Iran earlier claimed to have downed three Israeli F-35 jets and captured two pilots, a claim still unconfirmed by Israel.

These developments follow a large-scale Israeli attack that killed 78 Iranian civilians and several senior military and scientific figures.

In retaliation, Iran launched over 200 ballistic missiles at Israel, reportedly striking Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, with 4 Israeli deaths and 20+ injuries reported.
