TEHRAN: Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi has reaffirmed Tehran’s commitment to diplomatic engagement with Pakistan, thanking Islamabad for its ongoing efforts to mediate in regional conflicts.

Araqchi posted on social media platform X, stating that Iran has never declined to participate in talks held in Islamabad. “We are grateful to Pakistan and will never refuse to come to Islamabad,” he wrote. “Our priority is a permanent and final resolution to the unlawful war imposed upon us.”

He emphasized that Iran is interested in any solution that guarantees a complete and lasting end to conflict. The Foreign Minister also highlighted Iran’s appreciation for Pakistan’s solidarity and strong support, which Tehran has publicly acknowledged before.

In a concluding note, Araqchi expressed solidarity in Urdu, saying, “Pakistan Zindabad, Shukriya Pakistan.”

The statement came as a response to what Iran called false narratives in Western and Indian media, which he criticized as disinformation campaigns attempting to distort Iran’s stance on peace negotiations.
