TEHRAN: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has declared that Iran is prepared to engage in negotiations with the United States on equal terms, underscoring the country’s long-standing commitment to diplomacy.

Speaking to foreign media, Araghchi emphasized that Iran has never rejected the possibility of dialogue and remains open to finding a mutually acceptable solution with the U.S. through diplomatic channels.

He further clarified that any future talks with the U.S. would be conducted on the basis of mutual respect, ensuring that no nation would be considered superior or inferior. Araghchi firmly reiterated that Iran will not compromise on the fundamental rights of its people, nor will it yield to external pressures or coercion.
