In an interview shared by Iranian state-run media, Karami said Iran was “100 percent ready” to respond to any possible mistake by its adversaries.
Meanwhile, Iran has mobilised 313,000 volunteers as part of efforts to address what authorities describe as threats facing the country.
A large rally was also held in Tehran from Imam Hossein Square to Revolution Square, with participants including members of the “Jan Fada” campaign’s military battalions and people from various sectors.
Organisers said the campaign aims to contribute to Iran’s security, demonstrate public support and strengthen resistance against threats to the country.
Speaking at the rally, Basij Organisation chief Hossein Taeb described the “Jan Fada” campaign as one of the largest public mobilisation efforts in military history and as a symbol of Iran’s political identity and public resolve in confronting threats.
Taeb also said the world would soon see the United States leave the region following a defeat.
