Iran Targets US Bases, Personnel in Kuwait and UAE

Iran has launched missile and drone strikes against US military facilities and personnel housing in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, according to claims by the Iranian military, further escalating tensions between Tehran and Washington.

The Iranian military said the attacks targeted US installations, including satellite communication systems, equipment warehouses and fighter jet hangars at Kuwait’s Ahmad al-Jaber Air Base.

In the UAE, Iranian forces reportedly targeted housing for US military personnel and radar systems at Al Minhad Air Base.

The latest strikes come amid renewed tensions between Iran and the United States. US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that American forces had targeted what he described as “new equipment” being prepared by Iran near the Strait of Hormuz, warning that further action against Tehran could be taken if necessary.

The escalating confrontation has raised fresh concerns over the movement of international commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz and the potential impact on oil supplies from the Middle East.
