TEHRAN: Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said that his country was not bound to give in to demands of rogue states.

In his first reaction to the US President Donald Trump’s letter proposing talks on a nuclear deal last week, Iran’s supreme leader said some bullying countries insist on talks to meet their demands, not to solve problems.

Ayatollah Khamenei said Iran would not give in to the demands of such countries and would not give in to demands for an end to its missile program.

Last week, US President Donald Trump wrote a letter to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, inviting him to negotiate a nuclear deal, saying it would be better for Iran, otherwise we would have to do something else.
