Islamabad United Thrash Lahore Qalandars

LAHORE: Islamabad United delivered a dominant performance to defeat Lahore Qalandars by 9 wickets in a one-sided Pakistan Super League (PSL) encounter on Thursday.

Batting first, Lahore Qalandars were bowled out for just 100 runs in 18.3 overs, struggling against a disciplined bowling attack. Chris Green led the charge with three wickets, while Shadab Khan, Liam Gleeson, and Imad Wasim chipped in with two wickets each.

In response, Islamabad United comfortably chased down the target of 101 runs in just 11 overs, losing only one wicket. Devon Conway remained unbeaten on 59 off 34 balls, anchoring the innings with a composed knock, while Muhammad Faheem supported him with an unbeaten 34 off 19 balls.

The convincing victory has further strengthened Islamabad United’s position in the tournament standings, showcasing their strong form and balanced performance in both batting and bowling departments.
