According to Indian media reports, Madhumitha lives with her husband, Vinod Kumar, and their child. Preliminary investigations suggest that the suspects may have used information obtained from the YouTuber’s videos and online activities to plan the burglary.
The report said the suspects obtained details about the family’s location through responses Madhumitha had given on social media to questions such as “Where do I live?”
The couple had also reportedly posted videos featuring jewellery and cash on their social media accounts, which may have provided information to the burglars.
On the day of the incident, Madhumitha and her family had left the house to shop for clothes. During their absence, unidentified thieves allegedly cut through the rear door and entered the property.
The burglars reportedly took 81 tolas of gold and several million rupees in cash before fleeing the scene.
Police are investigating the incident and examining how information shared through the YouTuber’s online activities may have been used in the burglary.
