JUI chief Fazal Rehman offers to join Palestine Jehad

Hamas leader Khalid Mashal joins live JUI-F public gathering in Peshawar.

PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulema-Islam (JUI-F) held a huge public gathering in Peshawar in solidarity with the people of Palestine on Saturday.

The public gathering was initially planned to observe the death anniversary of JUI founder Mufti Mahmood. However, it turned into a mammoth public gathering to express solidarity with the people of Palestine.

During the gathering, Hamas leader Khalid Mashal was live from Palestine and thanked the people of Pakistan for their support.

“If the Islamic countries allow us passage we are ready to join the fight on the frontlines,” said JUI chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman. He said Hamas has asked for financial help, which will be provided by the people of Pakistan.

Speaking on the occasion, JUI leaders condemned Israeli aggression and expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman saud Pakistan’s bureaucracy and establishment were under pressure of America. He said Israel has dropped more bombs in a day that the US dropped in Afghanistan in a year.
