Karachi Kings Defeat Quetta Gladiators in PSL 11 Clash
LAHORE: In the second match of PSL 11, Karachi Kings secured a 14-run victory over Quetta Gladiators in a competitive encounter at Qaddafi Stadium.
Played at Qaddafi Stadium, the match saw Karachi Kings set a target of 182 runs for Quetta Gladiators. In response, Quetta Gladiators managed to score 167 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted overs, falling short by 14 runs.
Shahid (Shamyl) Hussain played a notable innings, scoring 52 runs off just 24 deliveries, but his effort went in vain. Captain Saud Shakeel contributed 33 runs before being dismissed.
Rilee Rossouw was bowled by Hasan Ali after scoring 25 runs, while McDermott also made 25 runs before returning to the pavilion. Hasan Nawaz added 19 runs off 24 balls.
Despite individual contributions, Quetta Gladiators could not chase down the target, as Karachi Kings’ bowling unit held firm in the closing stages to secure the win.
