WASHINGTON: World Kashmir Awareness Forum (WKAF) and Kashmir Diaspora Coalition (KDC) based in the United States of America have condemned the barbaric air strikes by Israel on besieged people of Gaza and termed it war crimes and acts against humanity.
In their joint statement, the two organizations said Israeli shelling on one of the most densely populated civilian populations for the two weeks non-stop, deliberately targeting homes, hospitals and schools must be condemned by the international community.
“These atrocities and mass killings in Palestine resonate with the people of the Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), who have been denied their right to self-determination. The 1948 UN Security Council resolutions on Palestine, and UN Security Council resolution of the same year on Kashmir must be respected and implemented in both nations to bring about lasting peace in the two conflicts,” added the statement.
The two forums of the Kashmiri diaspora also urged the United Nations Security Council to take action without further delay to ensure Israel stopped the siege and air strikes on Gaza and the warring sides observed an immediate ceasefire to stop further bloodshed of the Palestinians.
